Eligibility Criteria of the Fulbright FLTA Program 

• To be considered for this fellowship, applicants must: 
• Be Pakistani nationals with valid passports. 
• Be English language teachers at a college or university in Pakistan. 
• Have 1–8 years of teaching experience. 
• Have completed at least 16 years of education (Bachelor’s or Master’s). 

Ineligibility Conditions 

Applicants will not be eligible if: 

• They hold dual U.S./Pakistan nationality or have close U.S. citizen relatives. 
• They are current employees/contractors of USEFP, Fulbright, USAID, or related departments. 
• They are Fulbright or Humphrey alumni. 
• They are already residing or studying in the U.S.

Participants will teach Urdu or Pashto at U.S. campuses while: 

• Enhancing their English skills. 
• Learning U.S. cultural values. 
• Participating in extracurricular and community engagement programs.
