Dr. Yu Feng’s group in the School of Chemical Engineering is looking for highly motivated Ph.D. candidates to work on cutting-edge research. 🔬💻
🌟 Responsibilities:
You’ll work on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and AI-powered models to solve real-world challenges in:
- SARS-CoV-2 aerosol transmission
- Pulmonary disease detection and treatment
- Embolism formation in arteries
- And more…
🧠 Qualifications:
- B.S./M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering (or similar).
- CFD/DEM-related C/C++ and/or Python programming skills.
- Experience in OpenFOAM is a PLUS!
- Strong foundation in AI, ANSYS CFD, AutoCAD/SolidWorks, and fluid-structure interaction is preferred.
