University of Copenhagen PhD Fellowship Program

The University of Copenhagen PhD Fellowship in Microbiology is now open for Fall 2025. This prestigious fellowship, fully funded by the Carlsberg Foundation, focuses on cutting-edge research in phage–bacteria interactions to combat antibiotic resistance.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Master’s degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Strong background in molecular microbiology and phage biology.
  • Lab experience in techniques such as cloning and bacterial culturing.
  • Desirable skills include omics data analysis, bioinformatics, and scientific writing.
