Eligibility Criteria To Join Pak Army
To be eligible for recruitment as a soldier, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Nationality:
- The applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan and hold a domicile of the region where they are applying.
Education:
- For General Duty Soldiers, a minimum education of Matric (Grade 10) is required.
- For Clerks, intermediate qualifications are necessary, with a preference for those who know computer applications.
- Cook and sanitary worker applicants must possess at least a middle school education.
Age Requirements:
- For General Duty Soldiers: 17½ years to 23 years (born between 30 November 2001 to 30 May 2007).
- For Junior Commissioned Officers, the age range is 17½ years to 35 years.
Physical Requirements:
- Candidates must meet specific height requirements based on the category:
- General Duty Soldiers and Military Police: Minimum height of 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm).
- Clerks and Cooks: Minimum height of 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).
- Sanitary Workers: Minimum height of 5 feet (160 cm).
- Military Police: Minimum height of 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm).
