The United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is seeking a dedicated Programme Assistant to join the Human Rights Treaties Branch (HRTB) within the Human Rights Council and Treaty Mechanisms Division (HRCTMD) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The selected candidate will assist in the administration and coordination of the UN Voluntary Trust Fund on Contemporary Forms of Slavery and the UN Voluntary Fund for Victims of Torture. Responsibilities include processing Humanitarian Funds grants, coordinating sessions for the Boards of Trustees, managing documentation, and providing general office assistance. The ideal candidate should possess at least five years of experience in program or project administration, with proficiency in ERP systems like Umoja and experience in data management and graphic design tools being desirable.
