Why Study in Germany?

Why is Germany an excellent location for studying? Situated at the core of Europe and without educational expenses, figure out why Germany could be the ideal spot to get your certificate abroad.

1. Quality institutions

Germany has the most popular destination and some of the highest-ranked universities in Western Europe for non-English-speaking students to study there. The Times Higher Rankings ranked LMU Munich 29th, Heidelberg University 37th, and Humboldt University of Berlin 49th in the world in 2020. Numerous other schools are listed after 100.

The German government is also very committed to higher education, as evidenced by the quality of its most recent teaching and facilities. Every year, with funding from the German government, research projects are carried out. This gives students a chance to work on their own projects and conduct cutting-edge research.

You may have dreamed of studying in Europe, but you are worried about how you will pay for it. There are no tuition fees. Germany might be a good fit for you! In Germany, undergraduate education is free. Yes, that is what you read! In Germany, registration is free, so you don’t have to pay anything—not even tuition—if you’re an international student.

In fact, you can choose to pursue a free postgraduate degree after your undergraduate studies at a German university. You can save money for housing, study materials, social activities, and familiarization with nearby locations without paying tuition.

 2. Job Opportunities

In comparison to many other European nations, such as the United Kingdom, where overseas students can only be three months after graduation, Germany allows them to stay up to 18 months after graduation to look for employment.

About 50% of international students are still living there in 2020, according to the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), demonstrating the desire and demand to continue living and working there after graduation.

Additionally, Universities have great relationships with companies, which offers them an advantage when looking for part-time work or permanent positions. This is shown by the Times Higher Education Global Employability University Ranking.

3. Quality of life

Student life in Germany is without a doubt impressive. The majority of major German cities, including Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich, are cultural, artistic, and musical centers. This is the ideal location for interested international students because there is a lot to see and do, regardless of your interests.

You will discover your niche market and a group of people who share your interests in art, sports, history, or politics. It has a public transportation system that is dependable, safe, and quick because of its solid economy and foundation. This makes it easy to move around.

You may visit the stunning architecture, parks, and medieval castles during the day, and the lively nightlife of the major cities at night.

4. International environment

Students and international multiculturalism thrive in Germany. International students from all over the world are naturally drawn to the nation because there are so many university courses taught in English and there are no tuition costs.

More than 300,000 foreign students studied in the country in the previous academic year, and this number is expected to grow even more. Additionally, because of its central location in Western Europe, it is simple to go to other nations and see their diverse cultures and interesting landmarks.

Why are you still waiting? Begin your study experience in Germany today!
