Comprehensive Eligibility Criteria for All Roles
Professor (Computer Science)
- Maximum Age: 50 years (age relaxation as per policy)
- Minimum Qualification: PhD in relevant field from a recognized university.
- Experience:
- 15 years teaching or research experience in a postgraduate institute or university.
- 10 years post-PhD teaching or research experience.
- OR 15 research publications in HEC recognized journals.
- OR 10 research publications with at least 4 in the last 5 years as the principal author.
Professor (Biotechnology, Business & Management Sciences, Education, Medical Lab Technology)
- Maximum Age: 50 years (age relaxation as per policy)
- Minimum Qualification: PhD in relevant field from a recognized university.
- Experience:
- 15 years teaching or research experience in a postgraduate institute or university.
- 10 years post-PhD teaching or research experience.
- OR 15 research publications in HEC recognized journals.
- OR 10 research publications with at least 4 in the last 5 years as the principal author.
Associate Professor (Information Technology)
- Maximum Age: 45 years (age relaxation as per policy)
- Minimum Qualification: PhD in relevant field from a recognized university.
- Experience:
- 10 years teaching or research experience in a postgraduate institute or university.
- 5 years post-PhD teaching or research experience.
- OR 10 research publications in HEC recognized journals with at least 4 in the last 5 years as the principal author.
Associate Professor (Psychology, Economics & Policy Analysis, Zoology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, English, Education)
- Maximum Age: 45 years (age relaxation as per policy)
- Minimum Qualification: PhD in relevant field from a recognized university.
- Experience:
- 10 years teaching or research experience in a postgraduate institute or university.
- 5 years post-PhD teaching or research experience.
- OR 10 research publications in HEC recognized journals with at least 4 in the last 5 years as the principal author.
Assistant Professor (All Disciplines Listed)
- Maximum Age: 40 years (age relaxation as per policy)
- Minimum Qualification: PhD in relevant field from a recognized university OR Master’s degree (18 years) with relevant experience.
- Experience:
- No experience required for PhD holders.
- 2 years post-PhD relevant teaching or research experience.
- OR 4 years teaching/research experience for Master’s degree holders.
Lecturer (Law)
- Maximum Age: 30 years (age relaxation as per policy)
- Minimum Qualification: LLB and LLM from HEC recognized university OR JD from an accredited university recognized by the HEC.
- Experience:
- 2 years post-LLB/JD relevant teaching or research experience.
- Enrollment as an advocate with at least 3 years active practice at the bar.

- A processing fee of PKR 3000 (non-refundable) is required for Professor and Associate Professor positions.
- A processing fee of PKR 2000 (non-refundable) is required for Assistant Professor and Lecturer positions.
- The fee can be deposited in the designated University account.
- Upload the original deposit slip with your application.
- Attach attested copies of all educational documents, experience certificates, CNIC, and recent passport-sized photographs.
- Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalence certificate from the HEC.
- Government employees should apply through the proper channel and submit an NOC.
- Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for tests/interviews.
- The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
